New Clients

Welcome.

 

Since March 2020, I have been providing therapy through video sessions, specifically thera-LINK - which is a HIPAA-secure video platform for therapists.

As of July 2021, I began to see clients in-person as well as through video sessions.

Both options are open to any and all clients located in the State of Ohio.

I am accepting new clients.

Specifically adults (18+) who are working through grief/loss, perinatal/postpartum struggles, and life transitions.

Hours

 

I typically see clients in-person on Tuesdays, beginning at 10:00 AM, with the last session starting at 6:00 PM.

I also see clients via video on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.

 

Insurance

 

I am in-network with Medical Mutual of Ohio and can submit to them directly.  That said, if you have another insurance company and would like to see if they will reimburse you for out-of-network benefits, I am happy to provide you with a detailed receipt of your payments to me – based on my regular rates noted below – that you can then submit to the insurance company to see if they will reimburse you directly.  (If you would rather not receive a detailed receipt for your insurance, that is no problem.  You can just pay my regular rates and I will not create the detailed receipts.) 

If you have any other insurance company (besides Medical Mutual of Ohio), rather than creating a detailed receipt, after your payment of the regular session rate, I would be glad to submit your out-of-network claim for you via Reimbursify, at no cost to you. I would only need a copy of your insurance card.

In order to bill Medical Mutual of Ohio or create a detailed receipt,  I must provide a mental health diagnosis and could be asked by the insurance company to provide additional clinical information. Some clients prefer to pay out-of-pocket in order to prevent this exchange of information.

 

Rates

 

My regular rates are $200 for a first session/evaluation (60 minutes) and $150 for each subsequent session (approx. 50-55 minutes). I accept check card, credit card, and Health Savings Account (HSA) card for co-pays, deductibles, and self-pay. During the initial session, I will send you a text from IvyPay – which is a HIPAA-secure card system – in order for you to input your card information for any co-pay, deductible, or self-pay charge. Once your card information is entered and your payment is made for that initial session, I will then just charge the card at the end of each subsequent session. (If you do ever need to update/change the card, it is an easy process.)
